Triangle Taiko was founded in 2002, and now has over 30 members who enjoy learning and using taiko as a medium of cultural exchange and community service. Members practice every Sunday, and participate in performances such as International Festivals and at local schools. For more information, please see the club website.
Our club was founded in 2003. We have introduced Japanese traditional tea culture at various events and schools upon requests. Please contact Hideko Tsurumi (919-465-0873) if you are interested in Japanese tea presentation.
This will be a newly formed club. Members will meet 3 to 4 times annually and make Mochi together by pounding steamed Mochi rice. Members will learn timing, striking form, and team work, while having fun.
